From discovery to history, wishlist to visited tracker — every part of the journey lives in one offline-ready app.
Baltic Traveler is an offline-first travel app designed for the three Baltic countries — Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. Whether you're a first-time visitor planning a weekend in Vilnius Old Town, a road-trip family driving from Riga to Tallinn, or a returning traveller looking for the lesser-known hill-forts, manor houses and lakeshores locals actually visit, the app gives you a curated catalogue of over 800 places across the region — with hand-written history, facts and photos for every entry.
Start with a wishlist. Tap the bookmark on any place you want to see — castles, churches, viewpoints, museums, lakeshores, parks, beaches, and the offbeat spots that don't make it onto generic guidebook lists. Build a shortlist for a weekend in Vilnius, Riga or Tallinn, or layer multiple cities for a longer Baltic tour. Once you arrive, mark each location as visited and watch your personal Baltic map fill in. The Profile tab shows visited counts by country, a traveller rank, and exactly how much of each Baltic country you've explored.
The Baltic countryside has long stretches where data coverage is patchy or expensive — the Curonian Spit, coastal Estonia, rural Latvia, the Žemaitija lakes. That's why Baltic Traveler is offline-first. Download an entire city before you go and every location, photo, history paragraph and fact is available without a signal. There's also no need to register an account, share an email, or hand over personal details — an anonymous device ID keeps your wishlist and visited list in sync between sessions, and nothing else leaves your phone.
Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia share a thousand years of intertwined history — Hanseatic trade routes, Teutonic knights, Polish-Lithuanian commonwealth, Russian and Swedish empires, Soviet borders, and three restored independent republics. Their UNESCO old towns, baroque palaces, wooden manor houses, Soviet-era memorials, hill-forts and amber-rich seacoasts make far more sense as one connected story than as three separate trips. Baltic Traveler stitches them together: filter by country or city, sort by top-rated or most-visited, search by name from the All Places tab, and read locally curated context on every screen.
