Viewpoint

Siberijos observation tower is a 15 m high landscape observation tower in Plungė district, Platelių eldership, Beržoras village, within the territory of Žemaitijos National Park. It is built on Sidabro (Cidabro) hill, rising 165.7 m above sea level. From the tower, you can see Platelių and Beržoro lakes, Siberijos swamp, Liepijų forest, Beržoro village, and the southern part of Platelių town. It is accessible via an approximately 400 m long wooden plank and natural soil trail following the signs from the parking lot near Platelių cemetery, next to road 3202 Pauošniai–Plateliai. It was constructed from metal structures in 2013 with funds from the European Regional Development Fund and the budget of the Republic of Lithuania. The project was prepared and the construction carried out by UAB "Empower-Fidelitas". Informative stands are installed at the beginning of the trail and at the observation platform.
