Manor Summerhouse

The linden gazebo of Aukštadvaris manor park is an exceptional group of lindens growing in the Trakų district municipality, in Aukštadvaris manor park, near the central manor house, 50 m northwest. The linden gazebo was declared protected by the Order No. D1-495 of the Minister of Environment on June 13, 2012. The gazebo consists of 20 mature lindens. Their average trunk circumference is about 2.20 m, and the area they cover is 0.08 ha. A millstone table is erected amidst the lindens. The manor owners and their guests used to rest here, and poetry readings were held. The vast linden gazebo in Aukštadvaris park is not the only or unique one. Similar groups of distinctive lindens arranged like gazebos or circles grow in Sirvėta Regional Park (Švenčionys district), Veisiejai manor park (Lazdijai district), and others.
